We adapted the aluminum plate fabrication concepts used in our larger tables to smaller pieces, utilizing the same metal mortice and screw tapping methods, and utilizing spare space on the aluminum sheet to minimize waste.

This piece is made from off cuts of larger projects. We mixed wood types to make the best use of our scrap, laminated them, and pattern routed to create the edge that fits perfectly flush with the plated aluminum frame.

The joints and mortises used here are designed for disassembly and re assembly, creating modular and universal bases for any material.
