This set has 4 alignment variations, allowing for several arrangements. The incredible character of the wood which originated from a notch in the tree inspired our choices when shaping these tables to complement one another. 

To honor the story of the tree, we retained the organic underside of each slab, which had been air-drying since its harvest. Rather than flattening the bottoms, we mortised the legs into live underside of the pieces. Each table is a celebration of form, function, and the natural beauty of California Live Oak.
